The cosmic creative force that flows through all beings.
An intentional gathering on the lands of Cluculz Lake, this is an experimental mini pop-up festival to empower your mind, nourish your heart, challenge your body and connect your tribe. NATASHA LOUISE
ART brings the unseen world within us to the visible world around us. It is expression in its purest form. ART is a place that feels like home, a place where I experience moments of startling clarity. ART is my voice, my freedom, my journey. I was born and raised in Prince George, British Columbia and have always been surrounded and inspired by nature. My work predominantly focuses on the blending of wildlife, landscapes and the abstract. The manipulation of form and the incorporation of bold colours take my pieces away from the everyday and into the domain of the vacuous unconscious imagination. Ultimately, my work is about exuberance and the joy that comes from creating, sharing and celebrating ART.
EMJAY
Fitness enthusiast and mom of two, EmJay is a trainer that believes that exercise will not just change your body, but your mind as well. Using beautiful Mother Nature as her studio, EmJay will make you sweat while giving you a soul-expanding workout in her outdoor bootcamps.
DARRIEN MINNIE
Darrien’s yoga journey began when she was a teenager, and her practice deepened in her early twenties. After a big year of personal struggle and growth she travelled to Vancouver to reconnect with herself. She called this her “Self Care Dare” (#selfcaredare) and set an intention to focus intensely on that day and cultivate the things she desired most in her life: forgiveness, being enough, love, self care, confidence and bravery. When she returned home feeling recharged, she signed up for the September Yoga Series with Sufey. It was 16 blissful hours of yoga, and that was when her practice really took off. In the September series, she found she was in a place where the only thing that truly mattered was her own practice. One day, she was taken away on a beautiful guided mediation by a friend that took her away from the city and into a world of calmness and clarity. So she signed up for the 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training with Sufey Chen. This experience has sent her on a deep personal journey looking inward and seeing the world with new eyes. The greatest experience she has learned over the past year was that without the difficulties of life and being covered in mud, we cannot grow and rise above and blossom and grow into our own self. Her favourite quote is “No Mud, No Lotus” as she lives every day with that understanding.
CHRIS BANYAY
Chris draws his inspiration from a vagabond spirit, personal experiences, years of traveling and the philosophy of loving a dog. His down to earth nature has been cultivated with self reflection and the teachings of Krishnamurti, Watts and Rilke, a presence which he brings to his class with an open heart and an honest desire to grow.
LEANNA WONG
Playful, happy, and free spirited, Leanna was blessed to have found Yoga at a young age. Often seen as a quiet girl, Leanna’s true self is not revealed until she steps onto the mat. The practice brings out her sunshine despite the cloudy days outside. She can’t help but smile as her inner child comes out to play! As a young child, Leanna shied away from physical sports; but these days, she’s all about a fluid flow and ecstatic dance. Leanna loves the movement and playfulness of a Vinyasa, but also appreciates the stillness from a slow-paced Yin practice. Her daily practice is constantly evolving as; she listens to her body and moves in any way her body craves. Her favorite styles of Yoga include Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, Acro, and Laughter. Leanna is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). She has completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with the nomadic Sufey Chen. The student within Leanna has a passion for learning. Her formal education includes a background in business administration and science. She hopes to study nutrition and dietetics in the near future. In her free time, she enjoys soaking up all the world has to offer, strolling in parks, holding space, and finding beauty in every day.
LAURA BASS
Laura first stepped on the mat 12 years ago and fell in love with the peace, compassion, and acceptance of self that came with the practice of yoga. As a former figure skater, Laura enjoys the flow and movement that yoga offers, exploring balance, strength and breath through each pose. Along with the spiritual and mental balance that yoga brings to her life, Laura enjoys the light of yoga through playfulness and exploring new and challenging poses. Her goal is to help students explore compassion for self, find meditation between breath and movement, and to leave class feeling balanced physically, spiritually, and mentally… oh, and with a big smile. Laura has developed a passion for partner yoga and acrobatics, travelling to festivals to learn from and practice with teachers from all over the globe. She values the connection and trust to others that it builds, and how much laughter and joy it can create. She believes you are never too old to play, and we can all spread a little more light and love through conscious and meaningful connection.
RACHELLE DIACHUK
Rachelle Diachuk spends her days playing in nature, hanging out with her dog, running, pretending, dreaming, and laughing. Growing up strong and independent she travelled solo to many beautiful and rich cultured countries. During her stay in Peru, Rachelle did some intense soul searching and found that living a yogic life is her true path. Astonished by how much the physical and spiritual practice improved her entire being, she decided to spread the love to whomever would listen. Rachelle received her 200 hour certification from Sufey Chen in Prince George. Her classes range from high energy vinyasa flow with aspects of kundalini, hatha, yoga for athletes, and relaxing beginner.
