Rain is just rain
until you dance in it.
Surrender to its kisses,
its pitter patter
soft as a child’s footsteps
in the morning silence.

Rain is just rain
until you open your eyes
to see the magical life
it creates.

God cries for seeds to sprout
for petals to bloom
for rivers to flow
and so must we.
Tears are good for the soul.

And when we’re done,
the rainbow will come.
So many colours from one light,
one spirit, one whole.
We are one.
