Reach ~ Fernanda Lai

I hope I never stop falling in love
With the veins that run through leaves
And all over my body, rushing with
Strength. That allows me to stand.
Tall,
Until the end of my days.
Then may my arms slowly fall in grace,
Until there is a cascade of leaves
Kissing the surface of the Earth,
A tessellation of memories,
Their endless murmuring
Of a life well-lived, and so rich
In blessings
That even when fall comes,
Their gentle descent
Is one of endless giving.

Superlative! And fits your ‘home’ perfectly too. To never stop falling in love… yeah, that is a very tender thought. I must remember that on ‘off’ days… 🙂

  3. Loved this. I hope that I can one day, years from now, look back to how my life has unfolded and see that it was as she ghastly described it above. Thanks for introducing her!

  4. Beautiful thoughts you have poured into your words of poetry … Love is endless and so continues long after we have returned to the Earth…
